What is SignVideo and why is it useful?

SignVideo is an online service for customers who are deaf or have a hearing impairment. It’s a secure and easy way to call if you use British Sign Language (BSL). It connects you to an interpreter who will translate sign language to spoken word for the adviser.

It’s available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays (excluding bank holidays).

How do I use it?

There are two ways you can use SignVideo.

SignVideo App: Download the SignVideo app for your device. When you open the app, you will see the SignDirectory. Then select ‘Barclays Wealth’ and a SignVideo interpreter will appear on your screen to interpret your conversation.

The SignVideo website has more information.

SignVideo Web: Go to the SignDirectory. Then select ‘Barclays Wealth’ and a SignVideo interpreter will appear on your screen to interpret your conversation.
