We recognise the importance of providing support for our customers who may suffer hardship as a result of COVID-19 and experience problems with cashflow or making repayments to their mortgage, overdraft and personal loans.
We’ll use this page to keep you informed. This information is correct at the time of writing, but keep checking back as things may change.
To help us support those who are in most urgent need, we’d ask you to check the information on this page first, and only call if you have an immediate financial problem that can’t wait.
For day to day banking queries we encourage you to use our digital channels via either our online banking or via our Barclays App.
We have fewer colleagues than usual answering the phones and in our branches right now because of the coronavirus outbreak. This is having an impact on our service times – we’re truly sorry about this.
We appreciate this may be frustrating, and our colleagues are working to try and help as many people as possible.

For the safety of all our colleagues and customers, and to support national efforts in containing the spread of COVID-19, please only visit your local branch if absolutely necessary. You can do most of your day-to-day banking from home on the Barclays app and online banking. Our client service centre remains open, however, we’re experiencing higher call volumes than normal.
